It's a "Good Thing!"

As a kid I always loved painting and drawing but I stopped since my high school years. Recently, with all my newfound inspiration I thought, "why not take myself back to my youth and see what I could come up with?" I decided I might as well direct some of my musical inspiration towards a painting, and this was the result of that. I call this "Good Thing". Check out the song Good Thing and see how it connects with the painting.

So I came across this dope song on Coolgrey's blog so I thought I'd share it with you all. I love the singer, Giselle's voice! so smoooth and the beat is just amazingly chill!! The video is so simple in an appealing kind of way that keeps you drawn in. I dig it! this song proves that simplicity can easily be beautiful.

Since July, this project has been my main focus. After many Late nights/early mornings in the studio, numerous meetings with my engineer Kevin for mixing, and countless shows to build buzz for the album, it's finally finished and out for the world to hear. Bob Marley is a legend and most definitely one of the greatest musicians of all time. A true inspiration and a real example of how people can really make a huge difference through their art. His powerful, inspirational lyrics and heartfelt vocals have captivated many, including myself. Bob Marley has inspired me to write music with real meaning. As human beings we should strive to leave a footprint on this earth that no wind can blow away and that's what Bob Marley has done. Many musicians, artists and politically involved individuals are following in these very footsteps today. Happy Birthday Bob Marley and rest in peace!!

Hello world!

I've been meaning to start a blog for a while now. It feels good to finally have one, and one with a pretty awesome name if i may say so myself lol. With this first very "Seph Inflicted" post you might expect me to do something selfish like promote my own music or tell you to go download "Love Acoustically" at www.sephade.com but i'm not going to do that ;) lol . Instead I would like to use this first post to sincerely thank everyone who has supported me and also to thank my lovely mother for all the love and support...Even though she may not see this post lol. Also I must inevitably thank God! for keeping me motivated and opening doors for me. Well that's enough of my rambling just keep your eyeballs on this page, add it to your favorites, email it to yourself...whatever. Just know you can be sure that there will be many more DOPE posts with poetry, Music, pictures, videos, and any other cool thing you can probably think of!
